DMKD to increase crude steel output by 12.5pct in 2013
Ukrainian steelmaker Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F
Dzerzhinsky, a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union
of Donbass, said that it plans to increase crude steel production in the
current year by 12.5% compared to 2012, to (seamless steel pipe)3.544
million tonne.
In addition, in the given year DMKD's production of pig iron is expected
to rise by 0.6% to 3.034 million tonne, while it is targeting an
agglomerate output of 5.306 million tonne, up 6.4%, both on YoY basis.
