China's coal imports from Australia rose for two consecutive months
With the fight against illegal mining and pollution, China's domestic
coal production fell. China's coal imports from major suppliers in
Australia rose for the second consecutive month in July. According to
data released by the General Administration of Customs on Wednesday,
Australia's imports rose 4.4% to 7.47 million tons from July last year.
In addition, imports from Mongolia in July, although lower than the
record level in June, still rose more than 30% last year, reaching 2.26
million tons.
